JustCall typically logs phone calls and text messages against the Leads and Contacts modules in Zoho CRM. However, businesses can request the ability to log these events against custom modules that contain phone number fields.

How It Works

The system logs calls and texts against custom modules (such as Deals) in Zoho CRM. Users can choose to log either notes or activities (open/closed) through workflow settings in the Integration section.

Key requirement: The custom module must have a field designated as a phone number type for the system to locate relevant entities during searches.

Enabling This Feature

To activate logging for a custom module:

  • Contact the JustCall Support team
  • Specify the name of the custom module you wish to use
  • Support may request re-integration of your Zoho account to access module definitions

Important Limitations

  • Plan requirement: Available exclusively for Pro and Business plan subscribers
  • Organization-wide scope: Once enabled, the feature applies to all team members with connected Zoho CRM accounts
