Call and text contacts from EngageBay with JustCall

With JustCall connected to EngageBay, your team can call and text contacts directly from EngageBay. Every interaction is logged against the contact automatically.

Set up the integration from EngageBay

  1. Log in to EngageBay and go to Account Settings (profile icon, top right).
  2. Select Integrations in the sidebar, then click SMS in the top navigation.
  3. Find JustCall in the provider list and click Enable.
  4. Enter your JustCall API key, API secret, and your preferred From number.

To find your API credentials, log in to JustCall and go to the Developers section.

  1. Use E164 format for the phone number: country code with a plus sign, no brackets or dashes (e.g., +14155551234).
  2. Click Save.
  3. Copy the webhook URL that EngageBay generates.
  4. In JustCall, paste this URL into all webhook event settings.

Enable click-to-call and click-to-text gadgets

  1. In EngageBay, go to Preferences (profile icon).
  2. Select the Gadgets tab.
  3. Find JustCall and enable it.
  4. Enter your API credentials and From number again.
  5. Click Save.

Call and text icons now appear next to every contact's phone number in EngageBay.


Make a call

  1. Open a contact's profile in EngageBay.
  2. Click the Call icon below their phone number.
  3. Select JustCall from the dropdown.
  4. The JustCall dialer opens with the number prefilled. Complete the call.

Send a text

  1. Click the Text icon below the contact's phone number.
  2. Select JustCall as the provider.
  3. Choose your JustCall number, write your message, and send.

The text is delivered through JustCall and logged automatically under the contact's activities in EngageBay.
