Overview
JustCall enables users to send and receive text messages directly within Podio's Comments section, creating a unified communication hub. This integration eliminates the need to switch between platforms while managing projects, leads, or customer relationships.
How It Works
By default, incoming and outgoing text messages are logged under the 'Contacts Communication' section of a contact's profile in Podio.
When this feature is enabled, JustCall logs all incoming messages from contacts in the Comments section. Users can reply to these messages or compose new ones by following this format:
SMS: <text message>
(Note: "SMS" is not case-sensitive)
The message will be sent as a text message back to the contact from the same JustCall number.
Important Notes
- Once enabled, text messages will no longer appear in the 'Contacts Communication' section
- Incoming messages from existing contacts are logged to their profiles
- New contacts (not found in the system) are created as "New JustCall Contact" and messages are logged there
