Configure My Zendesk Integration

Overview

The JustCall-Zendesk integration enables seamless 1-click calling and messaging with customers and prospects. All calls and SMS activities automatically log as tickets, allowing you to track interactions within Zendesk without switching platforms.

Installation Steps

  1. Access Zendesk Marketplace: Log into your Zendesk account and navigate to the Zendesk Marketplace
  2. Search and Install: Look up JustCall and click the Install button
  3. Select Portal: Choose the Zendesk portal where you want to install the dialer
  4. Access the Dialer: The app appears in your Zendesk top bar, enabling calls directly from your dashboard
  5. Contact Profile Integration: Find the dialer within individual contact profiles with phone numbers automatically populated

Enable Activity Logging and Contact Sync

JustCall Account Configuration

  1. Log into JustCall at justcall.io/login.php
  2. Navigate to Integrations: Click Integrations in the sidebar
  3. Search Zendesk: Find Zendesk and click "+Integrate"
  4. Enter Zendesk URL: Provide your complete URL in format https://{your_zendesk_subdomain}.zendesk.com
  5. Authorize: Click "Add this integration" and complete the OAuth authorization process

Zendesk Account Settings

  1. Go to Admin dashboard
  2. Select Settings > Customers from the side menu
  3. Enable Validation: Turn on "Validate user phone numbers" in Settings

  • Activity Logging: All inbound and outbound calls generate tickets with embedded call recordings and voicemails
  • Chrome Extension: Install the JustCall browser extension to access click-to-call and click-to-text buttons next to any phone number while browsing
  • Support: Use the blue chat icon to contact the support team with any questions
