Assign Text Messages to the Deal Owner in Pipedrive

Overview

JustCall enables automatic assignment of text message activities to deal owners in Pipedrive rather than the person who sent the message. This feature centralizes communication data and ensures interactions are attributed to the appropriate team member.

How It Works

When enabled, JustCall searches for a deal linked to the contact and assigns text activities to that deal's owner. If no deal exists, it defaults to the contact owner instead.

Example: A contact owned by "Sid Matthews" but associated with a deal assigned to "John Smith" will have text message activities logged under John Smith's name.

Efficient Activity Tracking All text messages are automatically recorded in Pipedrive, making it simpler to manage follow-ups and maintain conversation records without gaps.

Enabling the Feature

This functionality requires a Team plan or higher.

Steps:

1. Navigate to the integrations section
2. Click Configure under "My Active Integrations"
3. In the General Settings tab, enable the highlighted setting for deal owner assignment
