Create tasks in ActiveCampaign for scheduled calls

Keep your team accountable for every follow-up. When you schedule a call in JustCall, a task is automatically created in ActiveCampaign and linked to the relevant contact.

Available on: Team plan or higher


What triggers a task

Tasks are created in ActiveCampaign whenever you schedule calls through:

  • JustCall Scheduler
  • JustCall Dialer (follow-up calls after a completed call)

Each task links to the associated contact, giving your team full context before the conversation.


Enable scheduled call tasks

  1. Go to Integrations from your dashboard.
  2. Open the My Active Integrations tab.
  3. Find ActiveCampaign and click Configure.
  4. In General Settings, toggle on "Create activities for scheduled calls."
  5. Select your preferred task type from the dropdown.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Optionally apply settings across all team members.


Schedule calls in JustCall

From the Scheduler:

  1. Select Scheduler from the dashboard menu.
  2. Click Schedule Calls and configure your call parameters.

From the Dialer (follow-up calls):

  1. After a call ends, the Notes & Rating screen appears.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Schedule follow-up call.
  3. Configure the call details.

View tasks in ActiveCampaign

  1. Log into ActiveCampaign.
  2. Go to Contacts and select the relevant contact.
  3. Scroll to the Tasks section to see scheduled calls with due dates and notes.

Tips

  • Contacts must be synced between both platforms for tasks to link correctly.
  • Enable two-way sync for the best results.
  • Works for both new and existing contacts.
