Triggers and Actions to Create Automated Workflows in Zapier

Overview

Zapier enables users to build customized workflows by connecting software applications through "Zaps." Each Zap contains two essential components:

  • Trigger: Initiates the workflow when a specific event occurs
  • Action: Executes after the workflow is activated

For example, the "New Contact" trigger activates when a contact is added to JustCall's address book, which can then execute a Mailchimp action to automatically create a subscriber.
