Triggers and Actions to Create Automated Workflows in Zapier
Overview
Zapier enables users to build customized workflows by connecting software applications through "Zaps." Each Zap contains two essential components:
- Trigger: Initiates the workflow when a specific event occurs
- Action: Executes after the workflow is activated
For example, the "New Contact" trigger activates when a contact is added to JustCall's address book, which can then execute a Mailchimp action to automatically create a subscriber.

This is now the default version selected by Zapier. Earlier zaps continue functioning with legacy support. Version 2.0.0 offers streamlined data, new triggers/actions for AI Voice Agent and Sales Dialer automation, and increased support up to 50 zaps per trigger.
