Reply to Text Messages Directly from HubSpot
You can easily reply to text messages (SMS) directly from within HubSpot using Timeline Events. This feature allows you to manage conversations without switching tabs—keeping all communication logged against your HubSpot contacts.
Prerequisites
To enable this functionality, ensure that SMS messages are logged as timeline events. In your JustCall workflow settings, select one of the following options:
- Texts (Notes) & Timeline events
- Timeline events only
- SMS Activity & Timeline events

How to Reply to an SMS from a Timeline Event

Open the contact's profile in HubSpot by searching for their name or phone number.

Locate the SMS in the activity timeline that you want to respond to.

Click "View Conversation" at the bottom of the message log.

A window will appear displaying the full SMS thread with the contact.

Type your reply in the message box and click "Send".
Your Response Will:
- Be sent through JustCall
- Get logged in the contact's timeline in HubSpot automatically
