Out of Office Text Message via Zapier

Overview

JustCall and Zapier integration enables automatic out-of-office SMS responses when you're unavailable. This is particularly useful during vacations or extended office absences.

Prerequisites

• Zapier paid plan (this integration requires Webhooks and Filters)
• JustCall account with API credentials
• Active JustCall phone number

Setup Instructions

The automation consists of five sequential tasks.

Task 1: Configure Trigger

1. Open the Zap template
2. Click "Try this Zap" and authenticate with JustCall
3. Provide API key and secret from your account settings
4. Confirm connection and proceed
5. Test the trigger by selecting a sample text message (send one if needed)
6. Continue to Task 2

Task 2: Set Conditions

1. Confirm the filter conditions
2. Select "done editing"
3. Proceed to Task 3 (ignore warnings about Zap continuation)

Task 3: Create Request

1. Open Task 3 and select "Customize request"
2. Scroll to the authorization field
3. Enter credentials in format: key:secret (colon-separated, no spaces)
4. Test and review results

Task 4: Duplicate Previous Steps

Repeat the same customization process as Task 3 for this task.

Task 5: Send Autoresponse

1. Open Task 5 and select "customize request"
2. Scroll to the "data" section
3. Customize the message body text
4. Add authorization credentials (same format as Task 3)
5. Click "test and continue"
6. Activate the Zap
