Migrate to Latest Version of JustCall Monday.com.com.com Integration

Overview

Users of older JustCall Monday.com recipes will see deprecation notices in the Automations center. These recipes cease functioning after January 31, 2026. Migration to the latest version ensures access to new features and prevents workflow disruptions.

Benefits of Upgrading

The migration offers several advantages:

  • Cost savings: The deprecated contact search recipe is now integrated into the call sync recipe, reducing Monday.com automation credit consumption.
  • New capabilities:
    • AI Data Sync enables pull of insights including call score, call summary, action items, customer sentiment, and topics directly to your calls board
    • Sales Dialer call data can now sync to your Monday.com calls board

Migration Steps

1. Update the JustCall App

Navigate to your Monday.com app marketplace, locate JustCall, and select the Update option to install the newest version.

2. Remove Old Recipes

Uninstall all existing JustCall recipes from your workspace. This includes recipes on contacts boards, calls boards, and SMS boards. If you manage multiple boards of each type, remove recipes from all instances.

3. Configure Board Connections

Before adding new recipes:

  • Click the three-dot menu on your Contacts column
  • Select Settings then "Customize Connect Boards"
  • Verify the column connects to the correct contact board
  • For unconnected columns, establish a two-way connection with a mirror column
  • For multiple contact boards, create separate columns for each

4. Install New Recipes

Add the following recipes to their respective boards:

  • "Sync Contacts" recipe to contact board(s)
  • "Sync Calls" recipe to your calls board
  • "Sync Messages" recipe to your SMS board

For multiple contact boards, install each recipe once per board.

5. Preserve New Columns

New columns containing AI-derived data (summaries, sentiment, call IDs) are automatically added. Do not modify these columns to ensure proper data syncing.
