Tag contacts based on activities in Keap

Overview

The Keap integration with JustCall logs all communications as notes against contacts. Tags enable filtering and automated actions, including contact selection for automated SMS workflows via Campaign Builder.


How to Enable Tagging

Follow these steps to set up automatic tagging:

  1. Login to your JustCall account
  2. Navigate to Integrations and click Configure next to Keap (Infusionsoft)
  3. Select the Advanced settings tab
  4. Enable the toggle for "Tag contacts in Keap"
  5. Select tags for desired activities (tags are disabled by default)
  6. Choose specific tag names for each activity type
  7. Click Save Changes

Supported Activities

You can automatically tag contacts for the following JustCall activities:

  • Incoming SMS
  • Outgoing SMS
  • Outgoing answered calls
  • Outgoing unanswered calls
  • Incoming calls
  • Voicemails dropped on your JustCall number

How It Works

Once enabled, when a contact performs a tagged activity (such as leaving a voicemail), the selected tag is automatically added to their contact profile in Keap. This enables easy filtering and workflow creation within Keap's Campaign Builder.
