Sync SMS conversation tags to ActiveCampaign contacts

Keep your tags consistent across platforms. When you tag an SMS conversation in JustCall, the same tag is automatically applied to the matching contact in ActiveCampaign. Remove the tag, and it disappears from ActiveCampaign too.
Available on: Pro plan or higher
How it works
When enabled, tag synchronization between JustCall SMS conversations and ActiveCampaign contacts is bidirectional:
- Adding a tag to an SMS conversation in JustCall applies it to the ActiveCampaign contact.
- Removing a tag from the conversation removes it from the ActiveCampaign contact.
- Reapplying a tag syncs it back to the contact profile.
Enable SMS conversation tag sync
- Go to Integrations from your dashboard.
- Open the My Active Integrations tab and find ActiveCampaign.
- Click Configure.
- Open the Advanced Settings section.
- Toggle on "Tag Contact on ActiveCampaign When You Tag an SMS Conversation."
- Click Save Changes.
Optionally apply settings across all team members.
View synced tags in ActiveCampaign
- Log into ActiveCampaign.
- Go to Contacts and search for the contact.
- Open the contact profile.
- View synchronized tags in the Tags section.
Why this matters
- Consolidate tagging across SMS and email channels for better audience segmentation.
- Eliminate duplicate tagging work across platforms.
- Enable personalized, channel-agnostic outreach based on consistent data.
Important notes
- This feature is only available in the JustCall web portal. Mobile and desktop apps do not support it.
