Log Calls, SMS, and WhatsApp Messages in HubSpot

Overview

The HubSpot Integration in JustCall enables teams to automatically track and organize communication activities—calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messages—directly within their HubSpot account. This ensures all interactions are logged and accessible to improve customer support and team collaboration.

Feature Access Requirements

  • Plan: Team plan or higher required
  • Recommended Platform: JustCall Web Portal (mobile/desktop apps don't support configuration)

Configuration Steps

How to Configure Workflow Settings

  1. From the Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
  2. Navigate to My Active Integrations tab and search for HubSpot
  3. Click the Configure button on the HubSpot integration box
  4. You'll be redirected to the HubSpot settings page
  5. Click the Workflow Settings section
  6. Select desired options and statuses from dropdown menus

Available Logging Options

Choose from these settings:

  • Calls (Engagements)
  • Texts (Notes) & Timeline events
  • Timeline events only
  • SMS Activity
  • SMS Activity & Timeline events
  • WhatsApp Activity
  • Disabled

Configurable Logging Parameters

  • Log Outgoing Answered Calls As
  • Log Outgoing Unanswered Calls As
  • Log Incoming Answered Calls As
  • Log Missed Calls As
  • Log Voicemails As
  • Log Incoming SMS As
  • Log Outgoing SMS As
  • Log Incoming WhatsApp Message As
  • Log Outgoing WhatsApp Message As
  1. Click Save Changes at the bottom
  2. Optionally apply settings across all team members via checkbox

Accessing Integration Logs

  1. From Dashboard, navigate to Call Logs in the sidebar
  2. Review your call activity overview
  3. Click a specific call entry to open the details pane
  4. Go to the Integration Logs tab
  5. Select HubSpot to view related logs
