Send SMS as Deal Owners in HubSpot Workflows

Overview

JustCall enables automatic text message delivery from deal owners' phone numbers within HubSpot workflows. This approach maintains personal rapport with customers by ensuring communications come from their assigned agent rather than automated random numbers.

Prerequisites

  • Active JustCall and HubSpot integration (see integration guide for setup)
  • Deal-based workflow access in HubSpot

Setup Steps

1. Create or Open Workflow

Navigate to HubSpot's workflows section and establish a new deal-based workflow or access an existing one.

2. Configure Trigger

Set up your preferred enrollment trigger for deals to enter the workflow.

3. Add SMS Action

Click the plus (+) icon where you want to insert the SMS sending action.

4. Select JustCall Action

In the action window, search for JustCall and choose "Send SMS as HubSpot Deal Owner."

5. Configure Message Details

  • Deal Owner Property field: Select where deal ownership information is stored
  • Contents field: Enter message text and personalize using deal tokens for dynamic content

6. Save Configuration

Click Save to complete setup.

How It Works

Enrolled deals automatically receive text messages from their respective owner's JustCall phone number. When multiple contacts associate with a deal, JustCall defaults to the most recently assigned contact.

Important Notes

In the case multiple numbers are assigned in JustCall to the agent who is the Deal Owner, the message will be sent from the number which is set as the default phone number for outbound SMS.
