Group SMS Conversations Under Single Activity in HighLevel

Overview

Instead of logging each SMS separately, JustCall consolidates all messages exchanged with a contact on the same calendar day into a single activity within HighLevel. This reduces timeline clutter and improves team efficiency.

Important: Grouping uses your JustCall-configured timezone, not IST or UTC.

How It Works

Once enabled:

  • All incoming and outgoing SMS with a contact on the same day appear grouped into a single activity in HighLevel
  • Messages on different dates start new grouped activities
  • Latest messages display at the top for quick access

Enabling the Feature

  1. From Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
  2. Go to My Active Integrations tab and locate HighLevel
  3. Click Configure on the HighLevel integration box
  4. Navigate to Advanced Settings section
  5. Toggle on "Group SMS conversations for a specific date and contact under a single activity"
  6. Click Save Changes at the bottom; optionally apply across all team members

Accessing Grouped Conversations in HighLevel

  1. Log into your HighLevel account
  2. Open the Conversations tab
  3. Select your desired contact/conversation
  4. Look to the right-hand sidebar for contact details
  5. Scroll to the Notes section
  6. Click to view grouped SMS messages
