Feature Overview

The "Drop Only Notes in Call Details" feature allows you to streamline your HubSpot call logs by recording only manual notes you create during or after calls, eliminating unnecessary metadata and timestamps.

Availability Requirements:

  • Team plan or higher
  • Accessible via JustCall Web Portal (not supported on mobile/desktop apps)

Why Use This Feature?

By default, JustCall logs extensive call details including timestamps, duration, and metadata. This can clutter HubSpot timelines, particularly for high-volume calling teams.

When enabled, this feature provides:

  • Only manual notes entered during or after a call are logged
  • Cleaner, more context-rich timelines
  • Faster identification of critical information without unnecessary data

This is especially valuable for sales and support teams who need quick access to actionable call insights.

How It Works

Default Behavior: HubSpot displays comprehensive call logs with full metadata.

With Feature Enabled: Only user-created notes appear in call records.

Configuration Steps

  1. From Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
  2. Navigate to My Active Integrations tab and locate HubSpot
  3. Click the Configure button on the HubSpot integration box
  4. Access HubSpot Integration Settings
  5. Click the General Settings section
  6. Toggle on "Drop only notes in Call Details"
  7. Click Save Changes at the page bottom
  8. Optionally apply settings across all team members via checkbox before saving

Once configured, only your notes will appear in HubSpot under each logged call.
