SMS Notification for Missed Calls via Zapier

Overview

The JustCall and Zapier integration enables users to receive text notifications whenever they miss calls on their JustCall number. This automation helps ensure missed opportunities don't go unnoticed.

Requirements

This integration requires Zapier's paid plan, as it uses Filters functionality that is not available on free accounts.

Setup Instructions

The configuration process involves three sequential tasks:

Task 1: Connect Your JustCall Account

1. Open the pre-configured Zap template in your browser
2. Select "Try this Zap" and authenticate with JustCall credentials
3. Retrieve your API key and secret from your account settings in JustCall
4. Complete the connection and proceed
5. Test the trigger by selecting a sample text message (or send one to your JustCall number if none exist)
6. Click Continue to move to Task 2

Task 2: Filter for Missed Calls Only

1. Confirm the filter conditions to ensure the automation only activates for missed calls
2. Select "done editing" when finished
3. Don't be concerned if you see a message about the Zap not continuing during testing -- this is expected behavior

Task 3: Send SMS Notification

1. Choose your JustCall account from the dropdown menu
2. Specify the recipient number for the SMS notification
3. You can either notify your customer about the missed call or send yourself a reminder
4. Click Continue, test the Zap, and activate it
