Configuring HighLevel Integration Settings

Overview

Once the HighLevel integration is successfully added to JustCall, you can configure several settings to enhance customer communication. The integration syncs customer data and tracks call activities directly within JustCall.

Feature Requirements:

  • Available in Team plan and above
  • Configuration must be done via JustCall Web Portal (not mobile/desktop apps)

Accessing HighLevel Integration Settings

  1. From Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
  2. Navigate to My Active Integrations tab
  3. Search for and locate the HighLevel integration
  4. Click the Configure button
  5. You'll be redirected to the HighLevel settings page with five configuration sections
  6. Click Save Changes when done (optionally apply settings across all team members)

Configuration Sections

Map Users

The User Mapping feature allows admins to map all team members to their corresponding HighLevel users simultaneously. Users sharing the same email address on both platforms are automatically mapped, ensuring call and text activity logs only for mapped users.

General Settings

Key toggleable options include:

  • Create new contact if phone number not present -- automatically creates contacts in HighLevel for unknown numbers
  • Create new contacts with phone numbers as names -- uses phone number as default name when no name data exists
  • Disable logging of Call Recording links -- prevents recording links from appearing in contact details
  • Log transcripts for incoming voicemails -- automatically transcribes and logs voicemails
  • Log IVR digit and message for calls -- captures caller selections and routing context
  • Tag contacts with disposition code -- adds call disposition tags for segmentation
  • Update call outcome in custom field -- tracks "Last Call Outcome" on contact profiles
  • Create tasks in HighLevel for follow up calls -- automatically generates follow-up tasks from scheduled calls

Workflow Settings

Configure how different call and SMS types are logged in HighLevel:

  • Log outgoing answered calls as...
  • Log outgoing unanswered calls as...
  • Log incoming answered calls as...
  • Log missed calls as...
  • Log voicemails as...
  • Log incoming SMS as...
  • Log outgoing SMS as...

Connected Numbers

Select which JustCall phone numbers should have logging enabled:

  • Log Calls for these phone numbers -- choose specific numbers for call logging
  • Log SMS for these phone numbers -- select numbers for text message logging

Use dropdown to view all connected numbers or select all at once.

Advanced Settings

Requires Pro plan or higher

  • Create a new contact immediately for calls with numbers not present -- auto-creates contacts during calls from unknown numbers
  • Group SMS conversations under single activity -- consolidates same-day messages with a contact into one activity entry for cleaner organization
