Send Automated SMS and MMS from HighLevel Workflows
Overview
This guide explains how to set up automated SMS and MMS messaging through JustCall's integration with HighLevel workflows, enabling marketing campaigns and alerts.
Prerequisites
- JustCall account integrated with HighLevel
Setup Steps

Access HighLevel: Log into your HighLevel account and navigate to the Automation section

Create/Open Workflow: Either create a new workflow or open an existing one where you want to add messaging

Configure Trigger: Set up a trigger that determines when the workflow runs based on contact criteria

Add JustCall Action: Click "Add action" and search for JustCall in the available actions list

Select Send SMS Action: Choose the "Send SMS via JustCall" action

Map Contact Numbers: In the Contact Number field, map the field containing the phone numbers for message delivery

Choose Sender Number: Select a JustCall number for sending messages. For US contacts, ensure the number has 10DLC certification

Enter Message Body: Type your SMS content in the Body field

Add Media (Optional): For MMS messages, attach media files in the Media Files field

Test & Save: Click "Save Action" and test with a sample contact before publishing

Publish: Once testing succeeds, publish the workflow
Important Notes
- Sent messages appear in your JustCall SMS inbox and get logged across integrated platforms
- Contact agency admins if SMS automation is restricted in your HighLevel account
- The Send SMS API endpoint has rate limits (check your account settings)
- Use JustCall's API monitoring section to troubleshoot failed messages
