Automatically create ActiveCampaign contacts from calls and SMS

Never lose track of a new lead. JustCall automatically creates contacts in ActiveCampaign when calls or SMS come from phone numbers that are not yet in your system.

How it works
When someone calls or texts from an unrecognized number, JustCall detects there is no matching contact and creates one in ActiveCampaign. You can optionally assign the contact to a list and create a deal automatically.
New contacts created by JustCall receive the default name "New JustCall contact."
Enable auto-contact creation
- Go to Integrations from your dashboard.
- Open the My Active Integrations tab and find ActiveCampaign.
- Click Configure.
- In General Settings, toggle on "Create new contacts if the phone number is not associated with any contact."
- Select a list from the dropdown where new contacts should be saved. The default is None.
- Optionally enable "Create a new deal against this contact for Calls and SMS."
- Click Save Changes.
Check the box to apply settings across all team members if needed.
Important notes
- Configuration is only available in the JustCall web portal, not on mobile or desktop apps.
- New contacts receive the name "New JustCall contact" until updated.
