Disable Logging of Call Recording Links in HubSpot Call Details
Overview
By default, JustCall logs comprehensive call information to HubSpot, including timestamps, caller/callee details, call outcomes, and call recording links. This feature allows you to prevent recording links from appearing in HubSpot call details.
Feature Requirements
- Plan: Team plan or higher required
- Access: Configure through JustCall Web Portal only (not available on mobile/desktop apps)
Why Disable Recording Links?
Privacy Control Recording content may contain sensitive data. Restricting link access limits team member exposure to these materials.
Regulatory Compliance Healthcare, finance, and legal sectors often have regulations restricting recorded conversation sharing. Disabling links supports compliance efforts.
What Changes
Default Behavior: Recording links and playable recordings visible in HubSpot call details
When Disabled: All call information remains visible except the recording link and playable recording
Configuration Steps
- From your Dashboard, navigate to Integrations in the left menu
- Go to the My Active Integrations tab and locate HubSpot
- Click the Configure button on the HubSpot integration box
- Access the HubSpot settings page
- Click the General Settings section
- Toggle on Disable logging of Call Recording links in Call Details
- Click Save Changes at the bottom
- Optionally check the box to apply settings across all team members
