Logging Tasks Under Custom Modules in Salesforce
Overview
You can enable task logging under custom modules in Salesforce to align with your unique CRM configurations. This permits tighter integration with custom objects, allowing direct task logging instead of standard modules like Contacts or Leads.
Setup Instructions

From the Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu

On the Integrations page, go to the My Active Integrations tab and find your Salesforce integration

Click Configure on the Salesforce integration box

In General Settings, locate "Enable logging of data under custom modules" and toggle it ON

Select a custom object from your Salesforce account (one at a time only)

Configure these field mappings:
- First Name Field: Maps first name storage location
- Last Name Field: Maps last name storage location
- Phone Number Field(s): Multi-select option for multiple phone fields

Click Save Changes at the bottom; optionally apply settings across all team members
Important Notes
- JustCall does not create new records under the custom object
- Tasks can only be associated with the respective record under the custom object; you cannot associate tasks with other standard objects when this setting is active
