Log and Reply to Text Messages Straight from Intercom Conversations
Overview
This integration allows you to respond to incoming text messages directly within Intercom conversations. When customers text your JustCall number, their messages appear as Intercom conversations, and any replies sent through Intercom are delivered back to customers as SMS.
How to Enable
- Navigate to the Integrations section in your JustCall account
- Locate the Intercom integration and click the configure button
- Open the Advanced Settings tab
- Enable the toggle for "Log and reply to text messages straight from Intercom conversations"
How It Works
The feature follows this workflow:
- Customer sends a text to your support number
- JustCall automatically converts the SMS into an Intercom conversation
- Your Intercom team members reply to the conversation
- The customer receives responses as text messages from the original number
Key Points
You can receive customer SMS on your Intercom and reply to them via text from the Intercom chat box. Customers continue receiving text responses while your team manages everything through Intercom's interface.
Standard SMS rates apply to all sent and received messages through this integration.
