Keep contacts in sync between JustCall and Help Scout

Two-way sync keeps your contact data consistent across both platforms. When you add or update a contact in JustCall, the change appears in Help Scout -- and vice versa. No manual copying needed.

Available on: Team plan or higher


What gets synced

  • New contacts added in either platform
  • Updates to contact names, phone numbers, and other details

Turn on two-way sync

  1. From the Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu.
  2. Go to the My Active Integrations tab and find Help Scout.
  3. Click Configure on the Help Scout card.
  4. In General Settings, toggle on: Contacts added and updated in JustCall should reflect in Help Scout (2-way sync).
  5. Click Save Changes. Optionally apply to all team members.

Verify the sync is working

  1. Add or edit a contact in JustCall.
  2. Check Help Scout to confirm the change appeared.
  3. Update a contact in Help Scout.
  4. Check JustCall to confirm it synced back.

Good to know

  • Duplicate contacts: If duplicates exist, the most recently created contact takes precedence.
  • Scope: Sync applies to all contacts, not just those tied to logged calls or messages.
