Create New Contacts, Leads and Deals on Pipedrive for Calls
Overview
JustCall integrates with Pipedrive to automatically log call activities against existing contacts. When a call comes from an unrecognized number, you can configure JustCall to create new contacts automatically rather than abandoning the log entry.
How It Works
The system attempts to match incoming call numbers against your Pipedrive address book. If no matching contact exists and automatic creation is enabled, JustCall generates a new entry labeled "New JustCall Contact" in your Pipedrive account.
Important Note: If a Person or Organization with matching number is not found in your Pipedrive account and the setting to create new contacts is switched off, the logging process would stop and the call won't be logged.
Configuration Steps
- Navigate to the integration section of your JustCall account
- Select the Pipedrive integration configuration option
- Under the General Settings tab, locate "Choose to create a new lead/deal against this contact for Calls"
- Select your preference:
- Create new leads, or
- Create new deals
- (Note: Only one option can be selected per contact)
Additional Features
- Convert leads to deals later within Pipedrive based on your workflow
- Enable call logs to appear under associated leads for better organization
- Disable automatic contact creation if preferred
