Make Calls / Send Texts via Slack

Overview

Once you integrate your JustCall account with Slack, all activities can be posted to your Slack channels. The platform provides an easy way to initiate calls or send SMS messages directly from Slack using slash commands.

Using Slash Commands

Basic Syntax: Type /justcall followed by the contact's name or phone number in any integrated channel. For example: /justcall Ayesha

The system will automatically search your contacts and display the associated number. If the contact doesn't exist in your address book, a new contact will be created automatically.

Making a Call

  1. Enter the slash command with a contact name or number
  2. Select the contact from the search results
  3. Click on the displayed number to place the call through JustCall

Call Logging

If you've configured outbound calls to log on a specific channel, JustCall will automatically post a message after the call completes. This message includes recording URLs and other call details.

Channel Integration

Slash commands work in any channel that's integrated with JustCall. You can integrate multiple channels to make this functionality available across your workspace.
