Send Internal SMS in HubSpot for Incoming Text Messages

Overview

Using HubSpot workflows, you can send an Internal SMS to agents or any number when receiving incoming text messages. To set this up, access to HubSpot Automations: Workflow is needed.


Trigger Setup

  1. Log into your HubSpot account and navigate to Workflows from the Automation section.
  2. Create a new workflow by clicking create workflow from the top right corner, then click Next.
  3. Select Set enrollment trigger, scroll down, and choose JustCall: SMS Received.
  4. Click on Received from and select is known as your trigger condition.

Action Configuration

  1. Click the Add icon ( '+' ) and select Send Internal SMS from the Internal communication section.
  2. Enter the phone number and the content of the SMS you wish to receive.

Note: If you also want the content of the message in the notification, please let the team know. They can use a custom property to save the message that can be used in the workflow.


Re-enrollment Settings

  1. Click Review from the top right corner.
  2. Click Edit next to Re-enrollment.
  3. Tick both options and click save.
  4. Click Turn on from the top right corner to activate the workflow.

Sample Notification

You'll receive an internal notification when incoming text messages arrive through your configured workflow.
