Reply Incoming Texts via Re:amaze

Overview

JustCall's Re:amaze integration enables users to call and text contacts through JustCall, logging all communications as conversations in Re:amaze. The platform includes click-to-call and text icons next to contact numbers.

By default, text conversations appear as separate entries in the Support box. However, you can configure custom SMS channels to organize messages as threaded conversations instead.

Creating a Custom SMS Channel on Re:amaze

Step 1: Log into your Re:amaze account, navigate to Settings, and select SMS Channels.

Step 2: In the top right corner, click "Add an SMS channel," then choose "Add a Custom SMS provider."

Step 3: Complete the configuration form with these details:

  • Channel Name: A custom identifier (e.g., "Global SMS support")
  • SMS Provider: Set to "custom"
  • Webhook URL: https://webhooks.justcall.io/justcall/webhooks/reamaze.php
  • Shared Secret: Copy this value immediately upon generation
  • SMS Number: Your SMS-enabled JustCall phone number

Step 4: Click "Next Step" to confirm successful setup.

Configuring the Channel on JustCall

Step 1: Access your JustCall account and navigate to integrations.

Step 2: Select "My Active Integrations" and click "Settings" next to your Re:amaze integration. Choose the custom SMS channel you created and paste the shared secret. Save your changes.

Result

Incoming text messages will now appear as threaded conversations within your custom SMS channel, allowing direct replies from Re:amaze's interface.
