Automatically update a contact's type in Copper based on the disposition code your team selects after each call. This keeps contact records current without manual data entry.

Available on: Team plan or higher

How it works

When an agent finishes a call in JustCall and selects a disposition code, the integration updates the contact's type field in Copper to match. For example, selecting "Qualified Lead" in JustCall sets the contact type to "Qualified Lead" in Copper.

Set it up

Step 1: Define contact types in Copper

Create the contact type categories you want to use in your Copper CRM settings. These become the target values for the sync.

Step 2: Create matching dispositions in JustCall

  1. Go to Account Settings > Call Dispositions in JustCall.
  2. Create disposition codes that match your Copper contact types exactly. Matching is case-sensitive -- "Qualified Lead" and "qualified lead" are treated as different values.
  3. Save your changes.

Step 3: Make a call and verify

  1. Place a call through JustCall.
  2. Select a disposition code when the call ends.
  3. Open the contact in Copper and confirm the type field has been updated.

Why this matters

Disposition-driven contact types let you segment contacts automatically. Your sales and support teams get accurate categorization without extra manual steps, and your Copper reports reflect real call outcomes.
