Drop New Text Messages in Channel Along with Threads

Overview

This Slack integration feature enables logging of both incoming and outgoing SMS messages in threads and integrated Slack channels simultaneously.

How to Enable

1. Access Integration Settings Navigate to the Integrations section and select the Configure toggle under Slack Channel to open the Settings page.

2. Enable the Feature Click on General Settings and activate the toggle for "Drop new text messages in channel along with threads."

Functionality

When enabled, the system will record SMS messages in two locations:

• Within conversation threads
• In the designated integrated Slack channel

Important Note

Messages logged before this feature was activated will not appear in the channel -- only new messages sent after enabling the setting will display in both locations.
