Automatically Create HubSpot Contacts for Inbound Calls

Overview

JustCall integrates with HubSpot to automatically generate new contact records when incoming calls arrive. If a caller's number doesn't already exist in your CRM, the system instantly creates a contact and displays a direct link to their HubSpot profile within the dialer interface.

What Happens During an Inbound Call

  • New callers are automatically registered in HubSpot
  • The JustCall dialer (Web, Desktop, or Chrome Extension) provides real-time access to the contact's HubSpot profile
  • New contacts receive the default label "New JustCall Contact" and can be edited during or after the call

Feature Requirements

  • Plan Access: This feature requires a Pro plan or higher
  • Recommended Platform: Use the JustCall Web Portal for optimal configuration. Mobile and desktop applications do not support HubSpot settings management.

Enabling Automatic Contact Creation

  1. Navigate to Integrations from your Dashboard sidebar
  2. Go to the My Active Integrations tab and locate HubSpot
  3. Select the Configure button on the HubSpot integration card
  4. You'll be redirected to the HubSpot settings page
  5. Open the Advanced Settings section
  6. Toggle on the setting: "Create a contact as soon as a call arrives"
  7. Click Save Changes at the page bottom
  8. Optionally apply these settings across your team by selecting the corresponding checkbox before saving
