Configuring HubSpot Integration Settings
Overview
Once you've successfully integrated HubSpot with JustCall, you can configure multiple settings to enhance customer communication. The integration synchronizes customer data and tracks call activities directly within JustCall.
Feature Access Requirements
This feature requires the Team plan or higher. Configuration is best managed through the JustCall Web Portal—mobile and desktop apps don't support HubSpot configuration.
Accessing HubSpot Integration Settings
- From the Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
- Navigate to the My Active Integrations tab
- Search for and locate the HubSpot integration
- Click the Configure button on the HubSpot integration box
- You'll be redirected to the settings page with four configuration sections:
- General Settings
- Workflow Settings
- Connected Numbers
- Advanced Settings
- Click Save Changes when finished; optionally apply settings across all team members
General Settings
Key configuration options include:
- Auto-create contacts: Automatically creates a new contact in HubSpot if an incoming or outgoing call is made to a number not present in the HubSpot address book
- Create contacts using phone numbers as names when contact names aren't available
- Auto-generate deals for new contacts (select pipeline)
- Create tasks for scheduled calls
- Enable two-way synchronization between platforms
- Log calls/texts against deals and companies
- Create meetings for appointment scheduler calls
- Log communications in ServiceHub tickets
- Disable logging for calls dropped before ringing
- Control what details are logged (notes only, exclude recordings, etc.)
- Log IVR input and voicemail transcripts
- Log AI data (transcription links, summaries, analysis)
Note: AI data logging features require Pro Plus plan or AI Review Assist add-on.
Workflow Settings
Configure how different communication types are logged:
- Calls: Choose logging format for outgoing answered/unanswered, incoming answered, and missed calls (Disable or Call Engagements)
- Voicemails: Select logging preference
- SMS: Options include Disable, Texts (Notes) & Timeline Events, Timeline Events Only, SMS Activity, or SMS Activity & Timeline Events
- WhatsApp: Choose between Disable or WhatsApp Activity
Connected Numbers
- View all numbers connected to your JustCall account via dropdown
- Select specific numbers or use "Select All" for:
- Phone call logging
- SMS logging
- WhatsApp message logging
Advanced Settings
Available with Pro plan or higher:
- Log call notes in the contact's Notes section
- Auto-create contacts for inbound calls from unknown numbers
- Track time spent with customers over calls and messages
- Generate reports for missed calls and voicemails
- Generate reports based on call outcomes and call types
- Auto-close "Call" type tasks after completion
