Enable Two-Way Sync of Contacts Between HubSpot and JustCall

Feature Overview

JustCall provides seamless two-way contact synchronization with HubSpot, automatically reflecting contact additions and updates across both platforms.

What This Feature Does

  • JustCall to HubSpot: Updates made to JustCall contacts sync automatically to your HubSpot account
  • HubSpot to JustCall: Changes in HubSpot contacts are reflected back in JustCall

Why Use This Feature

  • Maintains a centralized, up-to-date contact database across platforms
  • Reduces manual data entry and update efforts
  • Enables real-time team access to current contact information
  • Ensures consistent customer data across systems
  • Automates processes to minimize errors

Access & Requirements

This feature requires:

  • Team plan or higher subscription level
  • JustCall Web Portal for configuration (not available on mobile/desktop apps)

How to Enable Two-Way Sync

  1. From your Dashboard, select Integrations in the left menu
  2. Navigate to My Active Integrations tab
  3. Search for and locate your HubSpot integration
  4. Click the Configure button
  5. Find the option: "Contacts added and updated in JustCall should reflect in HubSpot (2-way sync)"
  6. Toggle this setting on
  7. Click Save Changes
  8. Optionally apply settings across all team members via checkbox

Testing the Sync

  • Add or modify a contact in JustCall and verify the change appears in HubSpot
  • Update a HubSpot contact and confirm it syncs back to JustCall

Important Considerations

Sync Timing (varies by contact volume):

  • Initial sync: approximately 1 hour
  • Recent syncs: 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Two-way sync: 30 minutes to 1 hour

Key Limitations:

  • Email addresses are not updated during sync to preserve HubSpot's contact identification method
  • Phone numbers, first names, and last names sync normally
  • Duplicate contacts: most recently created contact overwrites existing records
  • Contacts imported from other CRMs won't sync to HubSpot unless manually edited
  • Only the primary contact number updates when modified
