Voicemail Drop Setup
Voicemail Drop lets you leave a pre-recorded voicemail with a single click instead of waiting for the beep and speaking live. This saves 30–60 seconds per voicemail and keeps your message consistent across every contact.
Available on: Power Dialer and Dynamic Dialer campaigns. Voicemail Drop After Beep (automatic) requires AMD on Predictive Dialer campaigns.
Creating a Voicemail Drop Message
Option 1: Record in JustCall
- Go to Sales Dialer > Settings > Voicemail Drops.
- Click New Voicemail.
- Click Record and speak your message. Keep it under 30 seconds for best results.
- Click Stop, then Save. Name the recording (e.g., "Follow-up VM — March").
Option 2: Upload an Audio File
- Go to Sales Dialer > Settings > Voicemail Drops.
- Click New Voicemail > Upload File.
- Select an MP3 or WAV file from your computer.
- Name and save the recording.
Tip: Record in a quiet environment. Mention your name, company, reason for calling, and a callback number.
Attaching Voicemail Drop to a Campaign
- Open your campaign (new or existing).
- In campaign settings, find Voicemail Drop.
- Select the pre-recorded message from your library.
- Save the campaign.
Using Voicemail Drop During Calls
One-Click Drop (Power Dialer / Dynamic Dialer)
When a call goes to voicemail:
- The agent hears the voicemail greeting.
- Click the Drop Voicemail button on the dialer screen.
- JustCall plays your recorded message and disconnects automatically.
- The dialer advances to the next contact.
You do not need to wait for the beep — click the button as soon as you hear the greeting. JustCall handles the timing.
Auto-Drop After Beep (Predictive Dialer)
When AMD is enabled on a Predictive Dialer campaign:
- AMD detects an answering machine (~75% accuracy, 4–5 second delay).
- JustCall waits for the beep, then plays your voicemail message automatically.
- No agent action required.
To enable: toggle AMD on in Predictive campaign settings, then enable Voicemail Drop After Beep and select your recording.
Best Practices
- Keep messages under 30 seconds. Longer messages get cut off by some carriers.
- Create multiple voicemail messages for different campaign types (cold outreach, follow-up, renewal).
- Test your recording by calling your own voicemail before launching a campaign.
- Update messages regularly to stay relevant.
