How to Create a Sales Dialer Campaign

Set up a new outbound calling campaign in under five minutes. Choose your dialer type, import contacts, configure settings, and start dialing.


Before You Start

  • Power Dialer — dials one contact at a time, single agent. Best for high-value follow-ups.
  • Dynamic Dialer — sequential dialing, multiple agents, real-time list updates. Best for growing lists.
  • Predictive Dialer — dials multiple contacts simultaneously across agents. Best for high-volume outreach.

Power Dialer is available on Pro, Pro Plus, Business, and SalesPro plans. Dynamic and Predictive Dialers require SalesPro.


Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Click "Create Campaign" from the left navigation menu in Sales Dialer.

  2. Select dialing mode — "One at a Time" (Power/Dynamic) or "Multiple at a Time" (Predictive).

  3. Import contacts — upload a CSV file or pull from a connected CRM.

  4. Map fields — match your CSV or CRM fields to Sales Dialer contact fields. Save as default for future imports.

  5. Set default country code — the system auto-detects country codes already present in numbers.

  6. Choose backup number — select which phone field to dial if the primary is unavailable.

  7. Configure campaign settings:

    • Dial using — all available numbers or a specific number pool
    • Forward callbacks — route incoming calls to a JustCall or external number
    • Disposition groups — assign outcome categories agents select after each call
    • Call scripts — attach scripts agents see during calls
    • Dial order — first-to-last or reverse
    • Reattempt rules — set retry logic (global or per-disposition)

    Predictive Dialer adds: max calls per agent, abandoned call messaging, and voicemail drops (when AMD is enabled).

  8. Launch — click the play button to start dialing.


Key Details

  • Power Dialer campaigns are single-agent only.
  • Dynamic and Predictive Dialers support multi-agent assignment.
  • Local Presence (when enabled) auto-selects a local number matching the contact's area code.
  • Answering Machine Detection and auto voicemail drop are Predictive Dialer only.
  • Campaigns also appear in the Campaigns section after creation for ongoing management.

API Campaign Creation

Create campaigns programmatically via the Sales Dialer Create Campaign endpoint. Required: name, country_code. Optional: type (defaults to Power Dialer).
