Country Code Selection for Campaigns

Selecting the correct country code when creating a Sales Dialer campaign ensures that local phone numbers are recognized and dialed correctly.
Why Country Code Matters
Sales Dialer uses the country code to interpret phone number formats. For example, a UK contact's number 02038684554 is valid only when the UK country code is selected — the system adds the +44 prefix automatically.
If you select the wrong country code:
- Contacts may be flagged as invalid
- The campaign may complete without dialing any contacts
How to Set It
- During campaign creation, find the Country Code dropdown.
- Select the country that matches your contacts' phone numbers.
- Verify the selection before proceeding.
For contacts with international numbers in full E.164 format (e.g., +442038684554), the system recognizes the number regardless of the country code selected. But local-format numbers depend on the correct country code.
