Run outbound campaigns2 min readUpdated 2026-03-14

Create dropdown-type custom fields to standardize data collection during calls. Agents select from a predefined list of options instead of typing free text, keeping your data clean and consistent.

Available on: All Sales Dialer plans.

Creating a Dropdown Field

  1. Go to Sales Dialer > Settings > Custom Fields tab.
  2. Click Add Custom Field.
  3. Select Dropdown as the field type.
  4. Add up to 10 options for the dropdown.
  5. Save the field.

Editing Dropdown Options

After creating a dropdown field, you can add, edit, or delete options at any time from the Custom Fields tab.

Mapping Dropdown Fields to CRM

To sync dropdown values with your CRM:

  1. Go to Sales Dialer > Integrations > Map Contact Field.
  2. Find your custom dropdown field.
  3. Enter the CRM API field name to map it.

Note: CRM-to-Sales Dialer sync is one-way only. Values imported from your CRM populate the dropdown field, but changes in Sales Dialer do not sync back unless you have two-way sync enabled (Pro or Business plan).

Importing Dropdown Data

Dropdown custom fields can be populated via import from:

  • CSV files
  • HubSpot
  • Zoho
  • Pipedrive
  • Salesforce
  • ActiveCampaign
