Dynamic Dialer: Getting Started
Run outbound campaigns3 min readUpdated 2026-03-14
The Dynamic Dialer works like the Power Dialer — one call at a time, sequential dialing — but supports multiple agents sharing a single campaign and lets you add contacts to a live, running campaign. This makes it ideal for teams working evolving lead lists.
Plan required: SalesPro ($249/user/mo) only.
Step 1: Create a Campaign
- Go to Sales Dialer > Campaigns.
- Click New Campaign and select Dynamic Dialer.
- Name the campaign.
- Assign multiple agents to the campaign. Each agent dials independently from the shared contact list.
Step 2: Add Your Initial Contact List
Upload contacts via CSV or CRM import, just like other dialer types. You can also start with a smaller list and add contacts later — that is the Dynamic Dialer's primary advantage.
Recommended limit: Keep campaigns under 20,000 contacts for optimal performance.
Step 3: Configure Settings
Dynamic Dialer supports the same settings as Power Dialer:
- Caller ID / Local Presence — Select outbound number or match prospect area codes.
- Voicemail Drop — One-click drop during calls.
- Disposition Codes — Categorize call outcomes.
- Reattempt Rules — Auto-retry based on disposition.
- Sales Scripts — On-screen talking points with dynamic fields.
- Auto-SMS — Post-call text messages.
- Calling Windows — Timezone-based compliance.
Step 4: Start and Manage the Campaign
- Click Start Campaign. Assigned agents can begin dialing immediately.
- The system distributes contacts across agents so no two agents call the same person.
- To add contacts mid-campaign: go to the campaign, click Add Contacts, and upload a new CSV or import from your CRM.
- New contacts enter the queue automatically.
Key Limitations
| Limitation | Detail |
|---|---|
| Cannot re-run | Once a Dynamic Dialer campaign completes (all contacts dialed), it cannot be re-run. Create a new campaign instead. |
| Contact cap | Stay under 20,000 contacts per campaign for best performance. |
| SalesPro only | Not available on Pro or Pro Plus plans. |
When to Use Dynamic Dialer
- Your team shares a single campaign across multiple reps.
- Your lead list grows throughout the day (e.g., inbound leads fed into an outbound campaign).
- You want Power Dialer features (CRM preview, sequential calls) with multi-agent support.
