Register Phone Numbers for WhatsApp

Add additional phone numbers to your WhatsApp Business account through JustCall for multi-team or multi-location messaging.

Requirements

• The phone number must not be currently registered with any WhatsApp account (personal or business).
• The number must be able to receive SMS or voice calls for verification.
• You need a verified Meta Business account.

How to Register

1. Go to Channels → WhatsApp in JustCall.
2. Click Add Number.
3. Select a JustCall number that isn't already connected to WhatsApp.
4. Complete the verification (SMS or voice call).
5. The number appears in your WhatsApp channel list.

Multi-Number Setup

• Each registered number has its own conversation inbox.
• Agents can be assigned to specific WhatsApp numbers.
• Templates are shared across all numbers on the same WhatsApp Business Account.
• Quality ratings are tracked per number — a low-quality number doesn't affect your other numbers.

Removing a Number

To disconnect a number from WhatsApp:

1. Go to Channels → WhatsApp.
2. Select the number.
3. Click Disconnect.

The number becomes available for SMS again but loses its WhatsApp conversation history.
