What Email Inbox does

Email Inbox adds a dedicated email channel to JustCall. When a customer emails you, the message appears in your JustCall inbox — threaded, assigned, and tagged just like your other conversations. Your team can:

  • Read and reply to emails from the JustCall interface
  • Assign conversations to specific agents or let auto-assignment distribute them
  • Tag and organize emails with custom labels
  • Search across all emails by keyword, sender, date, or tag
  • Track response times with built-in email analytics

Unified inbox

Email, SMS, and call logs appear in a single conversation timeline per contact. When you open a contact's profile, you see their emails, text messages, calls, and voicemails in chronological order. This eliminates the need to check multiple tools to understand a customer's history.


Conversation threading

Email Inbox groups related messages into threads automatically. Replies and forwards stay connected to the original email, so you see the full conversation in one view rather than scattered individual messages.


Assignment and collaboration

Every email conversation can be assigned to an agent. Unassigned emails appear in a shared queue visible to the team. Agents can reassign conversations, leave internal notes, and mention teammates — all within the email thread.


Tags and filtering

Apply tags to categorize emails by topic, priority, or department. Use filters to find conversations by assignee, status (open or closed), date range, or tag. This keeps high-volume inboxes manageable and helps managers monitor workload distribution.
