Use More Than 5 Tags in SMS

By default, JustCall displays up to 5 tags on an SMS conversation. If you need more granular categorization, you can add additional tags beyond the visible limit.


How Tags Work in SMS

  • Tags help you categorize and filter SMS conversations (e.g., "VIP," "Follow-up," "Support," "Sales Lead").
  • You can assign tags manually on any conversation.
  • The first 5 tags are displayed directly on the conversation card. Additional tags are accessible by clicking the tag area.

Adding More Tags

  1. Open an SMS conversation.
  2. Click the Tags area or icon.
  3. Type a new tag name or select from existing tags.
  4. Add as many tags as needed — there is no hard limit on the number of tags per conversation.

Filtering by Tags

  1. In the SMS inbox, click the Filter icon.
  2. Select Tags as a filter criterion.
  3. Choose one or more tags to filter conversations.
