WhatsApp Message Reactions

React to WhatsApp messages with emoji reactions — a quick way to acknowledge a customer's message without typing a full response.


How to React

  1. Open a WhatsApp conversation in JustCall.
  2. Hover over a message.
  3. Click the reaction icon (smiley face).
  4. Select an emoji reaction.

The reaction appears on the message for both you and the customer.


Use Cases

  • Acknowledge receipt. React with a thumbs up (👍) to confirm you've seen the message while you prepare a detailed response.
  • Express agreement. A quick reaction is faster than typing "Got it" or "Understood."
  • Lighten the tone. Appropriate emoji reactions can make business conversations feel more personal.

Things to Know

  • Reactions are visible to the customer on their WhatsApp app.
  • You can change or remove your reaction by clicking the reaction icon again.
  • Reactions do not reopen the 24-hour conversation window — only text messages do.
  • Customer reactions on your messages are visible in JustCall.
