Toll-Free Verification Rejections

Toll-free verification can be rejected if your submission doesn't meet carrier requirements. Here are the common reasons and fixes.

Common Rejection Reasons

Fix: Upload a screenshot showing the actual phone number field and SMS-specific consent language. Email opt-in screenshots are not accepted.

2. Sample Messages Don't Match Use Case

Fix: Rewrite samples to match your selected use case category. Include your brand name and opt-out language.

3. Use Case Summary Too Vague

Fix: Provide a detailed description. "Marketing" is rejected — "Sending weekly promotional offers and seasonal discount codes to opted-in customers of [brand]" is accepted.

4. Missing Opt-Out Language

Fix: Include "Reply STOP to opt out" in all sample messages.

5. Website Not Functional

Fix: Ensure the website listed in your submission loads correctly and matches your business name.

6. Multiple Numbers Without Justification

Fix: If submitting 5+ toll-free numbers, explain why (separate agents, locations, departments).

Resubmitting

Fix the identified issues and resubmit through SettingsPhone Numbers → select the toll-free number → Verification.
