How to Register Your Brand for 10DLC

Brand registration tells US carriers who you are. It's the first step in the 10DLC process and must be completed before you can register messaging campaigns.

Available on: All plans with US local numbers

Before You Start

Gather these details:

  • Legal business name — must match your EIN/tax registration exactly.
  • EIN (Employer Identification Number) — US businesses. International businesses use their local tax ID equivalent.
  • Business address — registered address, not a P.O. box.
  • Business website — must be live and match your business name.
  • Business type — Sole Proprietorship, LLC, Corporation, Partnership, Non-Profit, or Government.
  • Industry vertical — e.g., Healthcare, Financial Services, Real Estate, Technology.
  • Contact information — name, email, and phone of an authorized representative.

Step-by-Step Registration

  1. Go to Settings → Compliance Centre → 10DLC Registration.
  2. Click Register Brand.
  3. Fill in the Brand Information form:
    • Legal business name
    • DBA (Doing Business As) name, if different
    • EIN or tax ID
    • Business type
    • Industry vertical
    • Business address (street, city, state, ZIP)
    • Website URL
  4. Fill in the Authorized Contact section:
    • Full name
    • Title/role
    • Email
    • Phone number
  5. Review all fields. The legal name and EIN cannot be changed after submission without re-registering.
  6. Click Submit.

What Happens After Submission

  • JustCall submits your brand to The Campaign Registry (TCR).
  • TCR verifies your business information against public databases (SEC, IRS, state registries).
  • You receive a Trust Score (0–100) within 1–3 business days.
  • Brand status updates in the Compliance Centre.

Sole Proprietor Registration

Sole proprietors without an EIN follow a slightly different path:

  • Use your SSN or ITIN instead of an EIN.
  • Trust Scores for sole proprietors are typically lower (limited to 1 MPS throughput).
  • You're limited to one registered campaign.
  • Consider forming an LLC and obtaining an EIN to unlock higher throughput.

Tips for a Higher Trust Score

  • Use your EIN, not SSN. EIN-registered businesses consistently receive higher scores.
  • Match your legal name exactly. Mismatches between your JustCall registration and public business records lower your score.
  • Have a professional website. An active website matching your business name signals legitimacy.
  • Provide complete information. Skipping optional fields reduces your score.

Appealing a Low Trust Score

If your trust score is lower than expected, you can request a secondary vetting through JustCall support. This involves a manual review by TCR and costs $40 (one-time). Secondary vetting typically raises scores for established businesses with clean records.
