10DLC Registration: Step-by-Step Guide

10DLC registration is a two-step process: register your brand (who you are), then register a campaign (what you'll send). Both are done from your JustCall Compliance Center.

Step 1: Brand Registration

Brand registration identifies your business to The Campaign Registry (TCR).

  1. Go to Settings → Compliance Center in your JustCall dashboard.
  2. Click Register Brand.
  3. Enter your business details:
    • Legal company name (must match IRS records exactly)
    • EIN (Employer Identification Number)
    • Business address
    • Website URL
    • Business type and vertical
  4. Submit for review.

Brand review typically takes 1–3 business days. You'll receive a Trust Score (0–100) that determines your messaging throughput.

Step 2: Campaign Registration

Once your brand is approved, register a campaign to specify what types of messages you'll send.

  1. In Compliance Center, click Register Campaign.
  2. Select your approved brand.
  3. Choose a use case (Customer Care, Marketing, Mixed, etc.).
  4. Provide:
    • 2–3 sample messages (include business name and opt-out language)
    • Message flow description (how consumers consent)
    • Links to your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
    • Opt-in keywords and confirmation message
  5. Submit for review.

Campaign review takes 1–5 business days depending on the use case type.

Step 3: Associate Numbers

After your campaign is approved, link your JustCall phone numbers to it.

  1. Open the approved campaign in Compliance Center.
  2. Click Associate Numbers.
  3. Select the numbers you want to use for this campaign.

Number association takes 1–2 business days.

Compliance Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A valid website that matches your business name and loads without errors
  • Opt-in consent documentation — proof of how consumers agree to receive messages
  • A published Privacy Policy and Terms of Use accessible via URL

Troubleshooting Rejected Registrations

Most rejections happen because of:

  • Missing opt-in/opt-out documentation — add explicit opt-out instructions to sample messages and describe your consent collection process
  • Incomplete policies — ensure your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are live and accessible
  • Business name mismatch — your legal name must match exactly what's on file with the IRS

You can edit and resubmit rejected campaigns from your Compliance Center.
