Enable Alphanumeric Sender ID

Set up Alphanumeric Sender ID so outbound SMS shows your business name instead of a phone number.

Prerequisites:

  • Paid JustCall account (not free trial).
  • SMS-capable number on your account.
  • Sending to countries that support Alphanumeric Sender IDs (not US or Canada).

How to Enable

  1. Go to SettingsSMS/MMSAlphanumeric Sender ID.
  2. Click Enable.
  3. Enter your Sender ID (up to 11 characters, must contain at least one letter).
  4. Select the countries where you want to use this Sender ID.
  5. For pre-registration countries, fill in required documentation and submit for approval.
  6. For dynamic countries, activation is instant.
  7. Click Save.

After Enabling

  • Outbound SMS to supported countries shows your Sender ID instead of your JustCall number.
  • Web-enabled Sender IDs apply to messages sent from the web app. For mobile app Sender IDs, contact JustCall support.
  • Some carriers may modify or replace Sender IDs that don't meet minimum length requirements.
