Add a Contact to the Do Not Message List
The Do Not Message (DNM) list prevents your team from sending SMS or MMS to specific phone numbers. Use it for contacts who have opted out, requested no further contact, or should be excluded from messaging campaigns.
Add a Contact to DNM
- Go to SMS/MMS → Settings → Do Not Message.
- Click Add Number.
- Enter the phone number (with country code).
- Click Save.
Messages to DNM numbers are blocked at the platform level — agents cannot override the block from the inbox.
Remove a Contact from DNM
- Go to SMS/MMS → Settings → Do Not Message.
- Find the number in the list.
- Click Remove.
The contact can now receive messages again.
Auto-Add via STOP Keyword
When a contact replies STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT), JustCall automatically processes the opt-out and blocks further messaging. You can configure whether these contacts are also added to your DNM list under SMS Settings → Auto-archive & DNM.
