Phone Number Settings Overview

Every JustCall number has a dedicated settings page where you control call routing, recordings, greetings, compliance, and more — all in one place.

Available on: All plans (some features require Pro or higher)


Access number settings

  1. Go to Phone Numbers in the sidebar
  2. Click the Settings (pencil) icon next to any number

Incoming call routing

Pause incoming calls

Toggle this to temporarily mark a number as unavailable without changing business hours or workflows.

Call workflow

Build custom routing rules with the visual workflow builder:

  • Route to specific teammates or teams
  • Create ring groups with multiple ring strategies
  • Set up multi-step call flows
  • Configure fallback actions for unanswered calls

AI Voice Agent

Assign an AI Voice Agent to handle calls automatically — answer questions, route callers, log interactions, and provide 24/7 coverage.

SIP deskphone

Connect external SIP devices to use traditional desk phones with this number.

  • Call transcription — Convert recordings to searchable text
  • Transcription language — Select language for improved accuracy

Custom greetings

  • Outbound call message — Plays while the call connects to the recipient
  • Hold message — Plays when a caller is placed on hold

Compliance

  • A2P 10DLC registration — Required for sending SMS in the United States
  • CNAM — Configure the caller name displayed during outbound calls

Click-to-call button

Add a click-to-call widget to your website:

  1. Go to the Click-to-Call Button section
  2. Click Add Website Button
  3. Configure the appearance and behavior
  4. Copy the generated code snippet and paste it into your website
