Customizing Queue Callback Messages

Customize the message callers hear when they request a callback from the queue.

Available on: Pro plan and above (requires queue callback enabled — contact support if not active)


Add a custom callback message

  1. Go to Phone Numbers and select your number.
  2. Open Custom Greetings.
  3. Next to Queue callback message, click Add new message.
  4. Choose your method:
    • Text-to-speech: Type your message and select a speaker and accent.
    • Upload: Upload an MP3 file.
  5. Click Save.

Delete a callback message

  1. Go to Custom Greetings for the number.
  2. Click Edit next to the callback message.
  3. Click Reset to remove it.

How it works

When queue callback is active, callers hear this message and can press 1 to leave the queue and receive a callback when an agent becomes available.
