Port Your Existing Number to JustCall
Keep your current phone number and bring it to JustCall. Porting transfers ownership from your existing carrier with zero downtime — your number stays active throughout the process.
Available on: All plans
How porting works
- Submit a port request — Log in to JustCall, go to Phone Numbers, and click Port Number
- Provide verification documents — Upload ownership proof (varies by country)
- JustCall processes the transfer — Timeline depends on the country of origin
- Number goes live on JustCall — Your number switches over at the scheduled porting time
Your number remains active with your current provider until the transfer completes. No downtime, no missed calls.
What you'll need
- The phone number(s) you want to port
- A Customer Service Record (CSR) from your current provider
- Your account number with the current carrier
- A port-out PIN (if your carrier requires one)
- A Letter of Authorization (LOA) — dated within the last 30 days
All information must match your current provider's records exactly. Mismatches are the most common reason for porting delays.
Timeline and costs
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Cost | $10 per number (one-time) |

Important
- Do not cancel your current provider until porting is complete
- Your number must be active with your current carrier — disconnected numbers cannot be ported
- Send all porting documents to porting@justcall.io
Common reasons for porting denial
- Outstanding fees — Settle any balance with your current carrier
- Information mismatch — Name, address, or account number differs from carrier records
- Inactive number — Reactivate the number before resubmitting
- Unauthorized signer — The LOA must be signed by an authorized account holder
- Wrong PIN — Get the correct port-out PIN from your carrier
- Missing account number — Request it from your current provider
