Port Your Existing Number to JustCall

Keep your current phone number and bring it to JustCall. Porting transfers ownership from your existing carrier with zero downtime — your number stays active throughout the process.

Available on: All plans

How porting works

  1. Submit a port request — Log in to JustCall, go to Phone Numbers, and click Port Number
  2. Provide verification documents — Upload ownership proof (varies by country)
  3. JustCall processes the transfer — Timeline depends on the country of origin
  4. Number goes live on JustCall — Your number switches over at the scheduled porting time

Your number remains active with your current provider until the transfer completes. No downtime, no missed calls.

What you'll need

  • The phone number(s) you want to port
  • A Customer Service Record (CSR) from your current provider
  • Your account number with the current carrier
  • A port-out PIN (if your carrier requires one)
  • A Letter of Authorization (LOA) — dated within the last 30 days

All information must match your current provider's records exactly. Mismatches are the most common reason for porting delays.

Important

  • Do not cancel your current provider until porting is complete

  • Send all porting documents to porting@justcall.io

Common reasons for porting denial

  1. Outstanding fees — Settle any balance with your current carrier
  2. Information mismatch — Name, address, or account number differs from carrier records
  3. Inactive number — Reactivate the number before resubmitting
  4. Unauthorized signer — The LOA must be signed by an authorized account holder
  5. Wrong PIN — Get the correct port-out PIN from your carrier
  6. Missing account number — Request it from your current provider
